Cookie policy
Last updated 29 July 2026
Keena uses a small number of cookies and browser storage keys, all of them to make the product work. None of them track you, and none of them are shared with advertisers.
No consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to. Everything listed here is strictly necessary to run the service or to remember a preference you set yourself. We run no advertising cookies, no analytics, and no third-party tracking pixels.
What we store
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-*-auth-token | Cookie | Keeps you signed in. Set by Supabase authentication; without it every page load would send you back to the login screen. | Until you sign out, or expiry |
theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode, so the correct one is applied before the first paint. | Until you clear it |
accent | Local storage | Remembers your chosen accent colour. | Until you clear it |
| Service worker cache | Cache storage | Stores app assets so Keena loads quickly and keeps working on a poor connection. | Until you clear site data |
Third-party cookies
If you sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies during that sign-in flow under its own privacy policy. We do not control them and we do not read them. Venue photos are served from our own storage rather than embedded from a third party, so viewing a place does not expose you to another site's cookies.
How to control them
Every browser lets you view and delete cookies and site data, usually under privacy settings. You can clear Keena's at any time.
Be aware that clearing the authentication cookie signs you out, and blocking cookies for this site entirely will stop you being able to sign in at all: there is no way to keep a session without it.
Changes
If we add anything that stores data in your browser, this page will be updated first. See the privacy policy for how the data behind these keys is handled.
